Wide Lens Macro
Wide Angle Lens question...?
I currently have a Nikon D3000 with the standard 18-55mm and 55-200mm kit lenses. I really want an ultra wide angle lens. I've been looking around and saw these things; like little attachments that you screw onto the end of your existing lens that converts it to wide angle. Here's an example:

What are the pros/cons of using a screw on attachment like that vs. buying a separate wide angle lens? I'm really not looking to spend $$$ on a new lens. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Attachments are noticeably less sharper, vignette, flare and do poorly in low light as well as bright light...
