Wide Angle Fisheye
It's a fisheye lens and a wide angle lens of the same?
I bought a digital SLR camera last month and I have the lens adapters necessary etc, and was looking to buy a fisheye lens for my camera but when I was looking around I saw a lot of "wide" lenses appear to be quite similar. Are they the same? If not, they are adaptable to each other or what? (As you probably know, I'm far from an expert on the subject ...)
What adapters? Do not need any adapter other than perhaps a certain ring to enhance multi-lens filters of different sizes filter thread. The adapters that I know used to use different mount lenses. That's usually a bad idea unless one is absolutely necessary to use a certain lens special applications. Usually get the equivalent of the right type of assembly is a much better idea. The other adapters are crap screws on the lens ... terrible quality image. It would be a waste of a perfectly good DSLR if you want to put the bottom of coke bottle like those before him. No, fisheye and wide angle lenses are not these are very different, indeed. Fisheyes have a very distorted image.
