Canon Camera 450D For The Price Of The Canon Eos1000D

As a user of many years of an analog camera Canon EOS 500N, the time was ripe for a change to digital camera. I have long between 1000D 450D and wavered, for 100 euro price difference can not be dismissed out of hand. Canon Camera 450D - Completely Satisfied!

We have the camera for 3 weeks, after a long struggle and many comparisons, and are absolutely happy and satisfied with it. Is our first non-compact, and even for us as so inexperienced handling is simple, the functions well explained and easy to find, so you more quickly than the automatic programs (but which are well used) can. The picture quality is excellent, the camera is very good in the hand and as I said, the service pleasant. With the kit lens, of course, comes relatively quickly to its limits, but to practice with the camera "and is getting a feel for it, it completely enough for everyday life, you get some good macro shots that out. Next purchase will be quite clear, but a telephoto lens.

So as I said, 100% satisfied!

Canon Camera 450D - Perfect Entry Model

The Canon Camera 450D is actually a very good camera un ideal for dedicated amateurs like me.

It may well be that it has various "quirks" that the professional struck, but it has exceeded my expectations in the last few days over. The pictures are all made sharp and contribute to my mind, almost professional.

The single, small hooks, which I could see so far is that the display light to pollute, because there photographing the landing with the nose off permanently.

However, absolute buy recommendation!

Set of lenses for Canon EOS 5d?

I'm considering upgrading to the Canon EOS 5D. I was wondering, what would be a good set of startup lenses? I would be wanting a macro, telephoto, and general use lens of course - what would be a good set of those? Also, are there any other lenses i should consider? Usually i'm shooting things on the street, especially macro stuff, but i've also been shooting peolpe and events lately, especially indoors. Any suggestions?

When I was considering going to a Canon digital system (I actually ended up with a Nikon D200, incidentally) here is the set of lenses I wanted to get. And I think I had your same basic set of uses in mind:

EF 24-85 zoom, or the step up would be the
EF 25-105L zoom

Then, for telephoto stuff I was hankering after:
EF 100-400 zoom. A friend of mine had one of these and it was amazing!

These two lenses would cover everything that you need, with the possible exception of true macro stuff. For that, I would choose:
EF 100mm macro. I have actually used the Canon 60mm macro lens and was unimpressed with it. But I've read a lot of nice things about the 100mm lens.

For my Nikon, I ended up with the 17-55 zoom and the 70-200 zoom. Since mine has a crop factor of 1.5x, it is similar to having a 25-85 zoom, and a 105-300 zoom. It's a great combination but I think you can do even better with the 24-105 and 100-400.
