help with video color in premiere?
hi i got footage from a panasonic dvd camcorder, the footage looks very colorful, and crispy now how can i turn it into a pro bluish looking movie in premiere cs3?i want it like i was using a lens filter while recording , i do have also after effects cs3 so please explain step by step for the 2 programs , cos its gonna be an action movie , when i add muzzle flashes and all it doesnt fit well because of the original movie color/brightness , thanks for any answer.
For Premiere: in your effects bin go to:
Video Effects > Color Correction > Drag and drop the "RGB Curves" effect on your video and adjust it in the Effect Controls window.
In After Effects:
Create an adjustment layer > Effects > Color Correction > Curves.
Adjust the rgb, red, blue, green, and alpha levels to your choice.
a simpler way to do it, if you don't mind spending around 50 bucks or so buy this product from VideoCopilot. Awesome company with many useful tutorials and products. I own many of them myself.
