Welders: Tell me about the current state of your vision?

I have 36, taking into account the training in welding (MIG, stick, tig and the core flux). I do a little welding and in my hobbies (cored), so I'm somewhat familiar with it. Need to know that I expect negatively affect my vision, although it will use eye protection at all times (auto darkening lens hood).

I have 34 and welded from I was a teenager from time to time around the farm, then I worked as a welder for 2 years. I can tell you with all the protection you will lose. You will strike accident and summed. I had my eyes burned by welding together a bright sun and did not know was the capture of UV. It will take years out of your eyes.
