Whats Wrong With My Sony Cyber Shot DSC-S980 Lens?
The lens on my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S980 was forced in (or prevented from coming out; I'm not sure which). It's about halfway out. Now, when I try to turn it on or off, the motor can be heard inside, and it sort of twitches but it seems to be stuck. Is there any way I can fix this myself within a few days or will I have to send it in to be repaired
The lens mechanism is damaged... dropped, sat on, something. There is no fixing the problem yourself.
I can't find this camera or it's value but if it's a small compact, which I suspect, you'd might as well trash it and replace it.
