Digital SLR Camera Buying Guide

If you are planning to buy their first digital SLR camera, then read more. I have tried to explain what they are digital SLR cameras, different types of digital SLR cameras and things to take care while buying a digital SLR.

What is the digital SLR camera?

Digital SLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex camera. These cameras use a mirror placed just behind the camera lens to direct light toward the viewfinder when taking a photo. What you need to be careful while buying Digital SLR

Wide range of digital SLR cameras are available on the market. Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Sony are among the leading companies that provide the best range of SLR cameras with different features and prices. The choice correct camera really depends on your need and use. If you shoot some video and upload it to youtube, then you might need a different camera that only monster high image quality you need. If you are going to use for professional photography, you might go for higher range. Whatever your need may be, but not forget to check the following:

Resolution (megapixels)

In simple words: a higher resolution or megapixels, the larger the photo printing will be. Will not necessarily mean high quality images.

Image Stabilization

Stabilization helps eliminate blur in photos due to hand movement. There are two types different stabilization, one is inside the camera and the other comes with your lenses.

Live View

With a live view system, you can compose pictures using the LCD screen on the back of the camera, in addition to the viewfinder.

Approach automatic

Auto Focus helps you focus on any place 3-9 individual focus points. It is mainly for flash auto contrast, brightness and other image adjustments.

Continuous Drive

This feature allows you to take several photos in quick succession. more expensive cameras have a higher rate of taking continuous shots.

The above mentioned parameters may be higher or lower depending on the type of camera choice.

Is there a new superzoom digital cameras coming out this year?

if so what are the characteristics? I mean, apart Sony camera comes with 15x zoom. when Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Fujifilm release new superzoom cameras? ok guys thanks for your answers, but I know of cameras that have not yet been released for example. Sony H7 and H9. I already know the recent releases. bob well. but what if I can not afford an SLR, do not want to carry one (with zoom lenses around for many) around. On the other hand thought that the SLR is intended to be difficult and complex to manage. I can buy a Canon S3 IS for 400AUD or a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ8 for 500AUD. DSLR it compare in price.

Super zoom is great! but their is a downside to them, the f / stops are very slow, which means you will need a lot of light on the subject to make them look halfway decent, the downside is that others have a lot of blurred photos due to speed shutter speeds and have a lot of digital noise because of it, I would stay away because of this super zoom!
