Protect Filter Why
my fantail tail looks ripped and torn why?
2 nights ago i put a couple glow sticks in the tank and the next day it looked torn i dont think the glowsticks would doing anything to the to the fantail i think he got his tail caught in my filter but there also is a cover protecting it so nothing will get in will he recover from his injury?

firstly and foremostly do you have any other fish in your tank? And secondly WHY DID YOU PUT GLOWSTICKS IN THE FISHTANK!!!! If that breaks and it leaks into the water that stuff is VERY toxic to the fish. It is possible for your fishes tail to get caught in the filter but because of the cover I think it practically impossible.
