Cannon mini dv camcorder?
i bought a cannon mini dv camcorder for christmas and i recorede some videos , the camcorder did not come next to the neccessary cables required for me to transfre the files onto my computer , when the cable come , we STILL did not have the right things , so i ordered some card to put into the hindmost of my computer , i installed it and hooked it up to my camcorder and it still dident work when i plug the firewire up to my camcorder i hear a "DING" on my desktop but nothing happen after that , nothing pops up , i tried to be in motion to windows movie author where it say "capture from device" or anything , even though its hooked up it says it at hand is no device hooked up etc. so , what do i do to transfer the video to my pc ?

Cannot support elevated resolution 320 x 240, what does that close-fisted ?
When trying to e-mail myself a video recording from my cell phone it say, " Cannot support high resolution 320 x 240 " What does that stingy ? My other resolution option is 176 x 144, I record some funny videos of my drunk friend, but I record under 320 x 240. I enjoy a feeling that If I account a video now beneath 176 x 144 it will let me distribute it, but now I hold nothing to narrative. What's the difference between 320 x 240 ... and ... 176 x 144 ?

Canon GL2 Question?
I've been looking around for a cheapish fisheye that would fit the GL2. I really similar to the Century Optics .3x Ultra Fisheye and was wondering if nearby are adapters that would make it fit onto the GL2.

Canon XH-a1 vs Panasonic AG-DVX100B?
I am going to be purchasing one of these two prosumer camcorders and I need direction. I know that in one mitt I have HD and the other is not. They are both widescreen ratio. They both have XLRs. Ok, so I was out looking for a honourable camcorder to make suitable quality video for myself and friends to share and what not... and I was wondering if anyone who have this model or a similar model or any other professional out there... know if this model would convert to Windows Movie Maker format? I know WMM sucks but I'm just wondering? I've also thought around buying Sony Vegas Movie Studio so I'll get that if I stipulation a better movie editing program. But are you happy near your Canon ZR900(or similar)?? PS: Does it have an SD card or is it adjectives MiniDV?

Cant achieve video stale of camera?
Ok, I bought a pci video card from New Egg. It creates a firewire port for me to plug my mini dv camera into. The new problem is, I cant integer out how to get the video sour of my camera. I have tried almost everything. I hold four different video programs on my computer, including the one that came wth the video card, and every time I click on the, get hold of video from camera, i says it cant find a compatible camera. How do I do this? Can anyone help out? I have vista, and I enjoy already gone to the cameras site to see if there be any updates for the camera or computer t make it compatible wth vista but it said that the camera should already be compatible. What else can I do?

ok i need to upload footage from my camera which is a Cannon UC-V20 Hi8 , i call for to be able to takeover this footage and then use it contained by Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 . Capturing footage shot at 24P at 29.9 fps?
I shot a short film within 24P and I'm now going to cut with Premiere. But my problem is I don't enjoy access to Premiere Pro, which is the only altered copy of Premiere that can capture 24P. What happen if I capture at 29.9? Are in that any other solutions?

Computer doesn't see PV-DV53 camcorder?
I want to transfer video clip from my Panasonic PV-DV53 camcorder to PC. I bought and installed Stor FireWire PCI Card. My XP system automatically found driver and installed it. I did not see any pallid question signs within system device manager. I conected my camcorder to PC next to Fire Wire cable and computer didsn't recognize it as a fresh device. I have two cable, so I tried both and no help. Anybody know what is the problem ? And of course my camcorder be on.

Computer wont read Sony Handycam when i connect them via usb?
I hav a sony handycam video camera (DCR-TRV285E) and i want to get some footage sour of it but when i connect it to the computer/laptop via usb nothing comes up on the computer. I checked my computer and nil and i tried Muvee AutoProducer to get the footage but it said "No camera detected check if camera is on and on play mode" i really obligation this footage if anyone can help appreciation 10 POINTS!!

I have a Dvd =r dl disk thingy. (thats what the disk say on it) and I want to move my movie onto it in ONE PIECE when I do it it keep separating into the different clips and it takes out the transitions and music is in that anyway to keep the movie together and burn it?

you will have to call 47th Street Camera and ask them. This seems to be a "slide-on" lens, so no threads are specifically needed.

I see that it will fit Nikon Coolpix S600 S610 L18 cameras so according to 47th street, it should work just fine
