Are these appropriate filters?
I recently purchased a Sony Alpha A290 with 18mm - 55mm, and I'm about to take abroad. I have been investigating things may need a UV filter and seems essential, I also would be using as a lens protector. Would this one be appropriate or too cheap? And the other filters are unnecessary? I will use my camera much.
Those are almost suspiciously cheap. However, a UV filter is definitely a great idea to protect the glass on the front of your lens. CPL filter in this package is a polarizing filter, they are pretty good for reducing glare and reflections when shooting through glass or in calm water. They also help carry out the definition of clouds in the sky. But again, that cheap price, I would be concerned about quality. The other filter in this package (FLD) is required only for film cameras and is not required for digital cameras, since you can set the white balance in the own camera now. Just change the World Bank set the camera to let you know that you're shooting under fluorescent light (without flash) and have the same effect with that filter. Hope that helps.
