Housed in a powder coated die cast housing with a formed aluminum lid, they feature a tempered flat glass lens and gasket with aluminum clamp band. These courts range from half court to full court dimensions and require powerful lighting to compensate for the dissipation that is inevitable for any outdoor lighting fixture. There is the perfect source of lighting for half-sized courts. Techlight lighting fixture package includes one light pole, one bracket, one sport light fixture, mounting hardware, and lamp. I own a Canon XL-1. The thread is 72mm but don't know what adapter to buy to get it to 43mm.?
I brought a 35mm adapter that is compatible with a 43mm lens mount, I just need to figure out how to get there.
I was researching to find that the 35mm adapter gives you a more 'film' look, but I'm clueless when is comes to adapters, and lenses.
And, should I purchase the 'Canon EF Adapter XL for Canon XL-2 and XL-1 DV Camcorders to mount EOS Photo Lenses' to make it all work?
As you see, you bought the wrong adapter. The 42 mm opening will cause a huge amount of vignetting since the thread on the front of the lens is 72 mm.
What are you trying to do, mount a crummy "add-on" lens to make the lens in to a "fisheye"? If that is true, besides the vignetting, you will NOT get a true fisheye view of the world, since a fisheye implies a 180 degree field of view.
