Another book-series turned into movie is set to release this coming February. Percy is given ten days to return Zeus bolt to Mount Olympus to prevent a war between the gods.

Zuiko Olympus 28mm 1:28 Auto-MC mount?

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Zuiko (prime lens) 24mm and the (prime lens) Zuiko 24mm Auto-W have identical 'bajonet' mount?

Reason being, I have recently bought an OM-System Zuiko lens MC Auto-W 24mm 1:28. I am planning to use it with a DSLR camera (Olympus e-410) and to do so I have bought a OM to E-system mount adapter (which I have not received yet) advertised as 'adapter for OM system manual lenses'

Any idea?

All the OM mount lenses will fit the E-System cameras unless they require a mirror lock up function for use. (Not sure if any of Oly's OM lenses required that but many manufacturers "fish eye" lenses did) and the 24mm length doesn't fit that category. As far as I know they only made one 24mm lens model for the OM system. (Correction they made TWO standard 24mm, an f2 & and f2.8 and three 28mm f2, f2.8 & f3.5).

The only other interchangeable lenses that I know of that Olympus made near that focal length were for the Pen F half frame cameras but lenses to fit that would be very small and would usually be identified as "Pen" lenses.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I forgot that there was also a 24mm f3.5 "Shift" lens designed for architectural work. Very big $$$ even today ($750 - $1,500+ used.)
