Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro v/s Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM?
Hi guys, I'm stocked up to choosing lens between this two.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
I know little bit about those two lens but not 100%, that's why I need your help. Dose anyone use both lenses? I'm thinking to get 85mm for portrait I know this is right choice but I also want macro lens and I heard 100mm macro lens is also great for portrait but not sure night photography, so guys help me which one should I chose.

I know that Macro lenses are generally a great choice for portraits. However, purely by nature, the 85mm f/1.8 would serve you slightly better in low light, because it has a wider maximum aperture.
I would suggest getting the 100mm f/2.8 lens. Although you will lose some of the low light functionality, the difference will not be a significant one because the difference between the maximum apertures is not great A macro lens will serve you well both for close up photography and portraits, so it will be slightly more versatile than the 85mm f/1.8.
