Canon Rebel XSI Fisheye lens Options?
I just received a canon rebel eos xsi for christmas and I want to get a fisheye lens. My brother bought a "Wide Fisheye Macro Lens" for around $40, this is a lens attachment. The only other fisheye i have seen is the $550 actual lens. I dont want to spend a lot of money. Also is every fisheye lens going to have the ring on the edges?
Unfortunately, real fisheyes start at around $500. The one Canon makes is meant for full-frame cameras. Since your XSi is not full-frame it will crop out the outer region and you probably won't get the black ring. If you want one that does have the black ring you'll need to get one in the EF-S mount. I believe Tamron makes one.
Unless you're willing to spend $500, you'll have to do with adapters. Unfortunately, they stink.
