I want to buy a macro lens but the cheapest one they had at BnH was 500.00. Cameta Camera has Macro Filters that go from +1 - +10. How do these Macro Filters Compare to a Macro Lens.

Macro filters work like magnifying glasses to alter regular lenses. They usually result in chromatic aberrations if the zoom is too high and the diopter too high.
