We're not just talking 'number of times' here, but the sharpness of focus and quality of image when maximum zoom is in play. The Nikon Coolpix range boasts a superior image quality, not only in terms of sharpness but also of colours and exposure.

We shouldn't bring this review to a conclusion without mentioning the add-on accessories that are available to the coolpix range. Whether it's cables and chargers, lens caps, CD-ROM viewers or camera straps you need, you'll find an attractive selection available for most models.

The bottom line is, that the Nikon Coolpix range of cameras is not one of the most popular on the market for no reason. For all the popular features you love, the price you pay is good value for money.
