Video Projector Buying Guide
In the past, video projectors were limited to high-theater installations that were very expensive house, but these guys today high definition projectors are available for less than $ 2,000.
If you plan on using a video projector for professional or personal use, a projector can provide many benefits. Depending on what you intend to use the projector for, there are certain things you should look for before making a purchasing decision.
Then find a series of questions that our product specialists, ask customers before recommending a projector for them to buy.
How much light is in the room you will use the projector? Generally, the more light that enters the room with more lumens you need a projector you have. The more lumens the projector has, the brighter the image is displayed, making it easier to see when in a room with lots of light. Please mind that a projector with less than 1000 lumens may have to block almost all of the external light to be able to see the picture clearly.
What relationship Aspect Do you want the projector to the screen? The two main types of aspect ratios is 4:3 (standard) or 16:9 (widescreen and high definition televisions). Most people now are choosing projectors in 16:9 format for their home theaters, while some prefer the 4:3 format, as many films created before 1953 are in that format.
Do you plan to take the spotlight with you? If you want a projector that is easy to take around one room to another or from one office to another, consider the size and weight of the unit. The lighter and smaller the projector, will be portable.
Are you worried about the contrast color in the image? If you want a good contrast in color, as the blackest blacks and whitest whites, and then look at the relationship contrast of a particular projector. The contrast ratios range is anywhere between 500:1 and 5000:1, and more. The higher the contrast ratio, the greater the amount of colors available. Therefore the higher the contrast ratio is the most life like images that the projector can produce.
How do you think about connection to the projector? Make sure the projector in question has all of the entries you plan to use available. These include S-video, composite, component, HDMI, as well as many others.
What kind of accessories you want with the projector? The projectors can come with many accessories including necessary cables to establish a connection such as an s-video cable, HDMI cable, or something like that. Make sure the projector has the necessary cables when buying a projector. Other accessories that can include remote controls, laser, lens cap, etc.
