Error 30: Format Cf Card Before Useâ In Sony Cyber-Shot R1
The Sony Cyber Shot DSC R-1 digital camera is the first non-SLR (fixed lens digital) camera to feature a large format sensor. It is a 10.3 mega pixel camera that provides a top-mounted LCD screen and large format sensor. The storage medium used in Sony R1 digital camera is memory stick or compact flash memory cards. A compact flash media card or a memory stick can be corrupted and become inaccessible due to loss of firmware update file, malware, virus etc. In such circumstances, you need to restore the pictures from the latest back up. But if you have not maintained an updated backup including the pictures in the flash card, then you need to go for quality Photo Recovery Software.
For example, when a user attempts to view the pictures in Sony R1 digital camera (which consists of a Compact Flash memory card), he receives the below error message:
"Error30: Format CF card before use"
After the above error message appears, the pictures saved in the flash card become unreadable and inaccessible. The main reason for the above error message is that there are multiple files or folders on the flash memory card and as it was not formatted before the firmware update file was transferred. To resolve the above error and save new pictures in the flash card, the user needs to format the memory card in the camera, and then redo the entire Software Updating Instructions procedure. Formatting the flash memory card will delete all the previously stored pictures in the memory card. In such situations, the user needs to perform Photo Recovery by using third party software known as Photo Recovery Software. A Picture Recovery application incorporates advanced scanning algorithms to recover and restore all the lost pictures.

Converting a large format lens for a Hasselblad?
I have a Hasselblad and would love a fisheye lens for it, however they are too expensive.
I was talking to another photographer and he told me that some people convert large format fisheye lens to fit their hassleblad. They would use this as a cheaper alternative.
He didn't however have anymore info on the subject... Does anyone know where I can read up on this...or do you have expierence modifying good lens to fit hasselblads?

http://www.kievusa.com/ - They have a 30mm Fish Eye for 6x6 film and it's made to fit the Hassy's. However, they be Russian but I have sold these cameras before and while they are NOT a Hasselblad, they are a fair to good copy, they work and they be thousands cheaper than a Hassy...
What your asking will cost you more in the long run than it is worth, with all the potential machine work, adapters being made and running around. Besides, I have NEVER heard of a large format lens being cheap. On my 4x5 cameras, a 90mm is "wide angle" somewhat equal to a 28mm on a 35mm body. You would need to find a 4x5 lens in the 40 to 50mm size to have what you seek. (47mm being the accepted norm for a fish eye on this size film).

Russian optics are not too shabby and you can save a LOT of $$ by giving them a try. Their fit and finish is often a tad crude, the metal parts not as finely finished as anyone else, but at 1/4 the cost, who cares.
