Why is the Canon Rebel XT sensor cleaning kit so expensive?
Is there a safe way to clean this sensor myself? Why is the cleaning kit so expensive?
You can always use a rocket blower to remove loosened dust from the sensor, NEVER COMPRESSED AIR though.
I wouldn't recommend cleaning the sensor yourself if there is stubborn dust clinging to the sensor unless you have done it many times without fault.
Seeing as major damage can be done to your camera by cleaning the sensor yourself without any prior experience, I would have a professional camera tech clean it for you.
