what would you choose? Canon::EOS 500D kit EF-S 18-200mm F3.5-5.6 IS or Nikon D90 Kit AF-S 18-105mm? And why?
I agree with "First".
The Nikon D90 with 18-200 mm VR would be the better choice. Especially now that the D90 replacement (D7000) is about to be introduced and the cost of a D90 will be reduced.
The Canon 500D is an entry level camera. The D90 is a step above that, so is more robust.
