What wide-angle zoom lens should i get?
I need a wide-angle zoom lens for my 1D Mk III, but i dont know which to get. I wanted something cheap, so i was going for the 12-24mm Sigma lens, but i read some really bad reviews on it. Anyone got any suggestions?
Well, basically both the Sigma 10-20 and Canon 10-22 would not work with the 1D Mark III. The 10-22 of canon is an ef-s, which only works on cameras with apsc sized sensors. Personally, I'll recomend the Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L II USM for the best wide angle full frame performance. However, if you have a budget constrain, get the EF 17-40 f4/L USM instead. Both are great lenses, but the 16-35 is better in my opinion. However, there is still the prime EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM. It might be too wide in some cases, thus the EF 16-35mm is still my number 1 choice.
