- Nikon: Like all of the above mentioned brands, Nikon has superseded film cameras and with good reason. Awesome imagining along with amazingly clear quality allows Nikon to continually be one of the most sought after camera brands in the world.

If you were to do some comparison shopping for a brand name store versus a discount camera store like a Brooklyn electronic shop, chances are you would see a huge price difference. We're not talking $10 or $20, we're talking $50+ on the penny. How good are marumi UV filters?

I need to buy a GOOD uv filter (52mm) for my Nikon D40. I want the thing to protect my lens so I'm not looking for a cheap one.

I live in India ,and I don't know if we get filters like hoya here . I found marumi UV filters for sale at ebay.in and want to know if it is of any good. it is listed at Rs.700 (appx $15) .

Can i buy them ? Also please suggest other high quality uv filters.
ever heard of a brand "Osaka" ??
