The LG BL40 Chocolate is a digital CDMA phone that support EVDO Rev. 0. The phone comes with two sleek back covers, one in black and one in purple. The handset is quite slim at 4.30 x 2.20 x 0.47 inches. It feels something weighty in hand and looks well built. The 3 inches display dominates the front with the hardware buttons. The 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus lens of the phone takes nice pictures. The resolutions offers white balance, color effects and an image editor. The LG also consist a self-timer along with different shooting modes. It can also take video with audio in either QVGA or 176 x 144 resolution. The phone allows you to record short videos for MMS or long videos for saving to memory, and has balance and light settings. Videos made with the phone look decent when you have good lighting. The LG BL40 Chocolate has a rechargeable battery along with the capacity of 1000 mAh. The life of the battery is good, reaching over 4 hours of all the usage including talking, navigations with GPS, downloading and listening to music as well as surfing the web and checking messages. Standby time is up to 1.5 to 2 weeks with little or light use.

Convergence fixed, but now my TV has a dot on the screen?
I did some checking and found how to fix the convergence on my rear projection TV by replacing the convergence IC's however after getting everything put back together and the convergence adjusted there is now a cyan or green dot about 1cm in diameter slightly left of cent about 2/3's of the way up from the bottom of the screen. The picture looks great except for this dots which is annoying to say the least.
I checked the back of the screen and the mirror and they are spotless so I am assuming that something must be on or in one of the guns or lens assemblies.
I have read on some boards of others having fixed their convergence issues then getting dots like this one as well, but have been unable to find any answers as to the cause or fix.
Fire up the TV set...remove the front screen. LOOK inside the RED picture tube. You'll see a black spot BURNED onto the phosphor...
Then take a look at the green and blue just to make sure you didn't burn those either....
Most likely caused by a sudden power loss, like unplugging the TV set while it was running, losing power from a power interruption.
You'll need to at least replace the RED picture tube to make that problem go away....
