Fish Eye Wide
Fisheye adapter / lens?
Can anyone link me to a fisheye lens cheap / adapter for Nikon D3000? I bought one off Amazon and either not installed or did not work either. I bought one of those, but it was for D3000 do not really care for the black edge in the photo I just want the effect.
I'm sure it installed correctly. What we found is the advertising is misleading. A true fisheye covers 180 degrees and that is why there is a barrel distortion. What is an add-on "fisheye", ie, a blurring of the image and nothing else. You can never cover 180 degrees of view. The second thing I did not realize was 0.42x what it means exactly? If you want a wider field of view, not a 0.24x be a better choice? To fully enjoy a fish-eye look at the world will have to save some good money for either the Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye or fisheye Tokina 10-17 mm zoom.
