And so you might think that the camera must be really something because it has a unique name. Actually, its name, demekin, is a word in Japanese and it is used to refer to a goldfish that is pop-eyed. Aside from that, the word has also been used as the name of the smallest fisheye camera. So if you are going to put two and two together, you would be getting a goldfish and the fisheye camera. So in the end, you would be having a camera that gets really great photos and these photos turn out to give people the idea of just what a fish sees.

This is because the package looks just like a fishbowl. So you got the Demekin camera in a fishbowl. Really makes sense, doesn’t it? Well, it would if you knew about this already.
