do wireless phones interfere with wireless modem signels?

Ive been having probelms with my aol broadband now for some time,
after propley making sure everything was fitted tidy and that the filter was new and working, i had cracking down the phone line.
i dont know what could cause the probelm i thought maybe it was the phoneline but now after trying so much with aol tech help now(BS) ive had enough and i just dont seem to get listen to and plus its costing me alot of money to ring them for 20 mins for no answers.
can anyone help me please!
