Cpl Polarizing Filter
Is this very inexpensive UV and polarizing it pays to buy the filter?
I bought a Nikon D3100 digital SLR in the first to start getting into the picture. I hear it's advisable to get UV filters and polarized light as a basic kit to improve my image and protect the lens. I had a shop around and find a very cheap, so for just £ 9.99, which is much cheaper than most seem to be: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Camlink-52mm-CPL-Filter-Kit/dp/B001GCVEV0/ref = sr_1_16? ie = UTF8 & qid = 1295789409 & sr = 8-16 What could be wrong with this and the description says the video is suitable for all Auto-Focus, still, digital and film cameras. Does that I will not be able to use manual focus with them? Or should grab this deal immediately!?
Still be able to focus manually to these filters. Would I buy them? No, not even his money. When you come to certain articles of photography (eg, filters, lenses and tripods), I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." Many of the cheaper filters use a plastic lens instead of glass (glass and the cheapest can not be properly ground). This can result in picture degradation due to distortion and aberration. I prefer Tiffen filters, Hoya, and Cokin.
