Sunpak UV and C-Polarizer filters, any good?

I cannot afford HOYA and B+W right now...
are Sunpak UV and CPL filters sold at Best Buy are...a no-no? I am getting the Sunpak UV/CPL set for $32 only (with coupons, discounts etc ofcourse)

Well you spent over 600 on fine NIKKOR glass putting a plastic junk filter on that lens would be a waste and degrade the quality of the lens.
