How do you clean a lens of a digital camera?

I own a kodak m series and there is a piece of glitter stuck on the lens. How do i get rid of it. I have used my glasses cloth but it is too soft.

I used a cotton ear cleaner with a bit of water to clean it.

Make sure that the cleaner isnt soaked just damp:)
