Few people actually know that there's more to it than just aesthetics. A BMW spoiler is an aerodynamic device attached to an automobile whose intended design function is to 'spoil' unfavorable air movement across a body of a car in motion. It does this by disrupting the air flow going over a car so the contact between the tire and the road surface is increased, also increasing traction as well that allows your moving vehicle to brake, turn, and accelerate with more stability. This can result in improved vehicle stability by reducing lift or decreasing drag that may cause unpredictable handling in a car at speed. Another design goal is to increase fuel efficiency. Spoilers are often fitted to race and high-performance sports cars, although they have become common on passenger vehicles, as well. However, in most vehicles, high speed is required in order for the spoilers to actually work so it has a great chance that they won't work in slow speeds. If not used properly, these may even be the cause the aerodynamics to become worse.
There are several kinds of BMW spoilers available in the market today. A front spoiler, or air dam, is positioned under the front bumper. A rear spoiler, sometimes called a wing, mounts on top of a car's trunk lid and is used in racing to create down force. For pickups, there are also cab spoilers, tailgate spoilers, truck cap spoilers and ton eau cover spoilers. There are also rear window spoilers for SUVs, minivans and even cars simply used to deflect the rain off the rear window.
BMW Roof Scoop: BMW roof scoop gives a good airflow over the car and helps in the balancing of the car.
BMW Rear and Side Guards: These guards are important for the safety of the vehicle. Which are made of high rigidity and rough thing. Which makes the look good and attractive also. BMW side guards can also be used for stickers pasting.
Now a days the importance of BMW body kits is increased. New model are available with very high quality materials and very high price, Carbon fiber is used which are very light weight and good looking. Carbon fiber body kits are very costaly.

How do I remove the rear lens cap from a Canon lens?

Someone has donated a 135mm f2.8 Vivitar short telephoto lens to a charity shop that I have been helping at. The lens has a canon rear lens cap fitted so I assume it is a canon mount.
I tried to remove the cap to check the rear elements for fungus etc but it does not budge. I have tried a reasonable degree of force both anti clockwise and clockwise. I have also tried pushing and pulling for a bayonet type fitting. There are no obvious lugs or buttons and the lens mount looks like it has three bayonet slots that engage with a clockwise movement.
Can anyone help? I don't want to damage the lens and my reputation as the shops photographic equipment specialist is at stake.

You most likely have an older Canon FD mount lens (discontinued and replaced by the current EF series). To remove the rear lenscam, rotate the chrome ring at the base of the lens. When it rotates, it will unlock the cap. To replace the rear cap or to mount the lens on an older Canon camera, twist the chrome ring in the opposite direction.
